Job Overview

Come join a growing and creative team of humans dedicated to helping organizations connect with their audiences through relevant and useful content marketing. You will be responsible for combining insights from our proprietary tools with your knowledge and data from other trusted providers and then translating those learnings into practical strategies for clients to implement. Your goal will be to take our clients from guessing what content will work to knowing what content will work to achieve their goals. You will report to and be supported by our Chief Strategist and be a crucial part of helping Ceralytics continue the trend of growing 100% year over year. 

Job duties will include:

  • Research and data analysis
    • Website data and competitive metrics including SEO performance, on-site engagement, and conversions utilizing proprietary tools and data from trusted providers
    • Attribution data to determine how content drives business goals
    • Industry trends for multiple clients’ industries
  • Creation of reports, strategies, and plans
    • Content audits for clients’ websites
    • Competitive audits
    • Actionable content strategies for clients
    • SEO optimized content calendars for clients
  • Manage and nurture client relationships
    • Presentation of reports, strategies, and plans
    • Coaching clients on best practices and why they are important
    • Ability to manage multiple client relationships at different stages in our process
  • Influence and inform product development
    • Provide feedback to the development team on new features and future products
    • Listen to clients and understand their needs

Job Requirements

  • 2+ of years experience
  • Marketing background/degree
  • Ability to quickly learn and implement best practices in content & SEO
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Confidence and ease when presenting or facilitating meetings with senior executives

  • Strong communication skills in person and virtually:
    • Well-honed writing, grammar, and proofreading skills
    • Ability to present complex topics to people unfamiliar with the information
    • Ability to lead and participate in virtual meetings
  • Comfort and experience managing multiple projects
    • Use planning skills to develop strategies that will be executed over time
    • Value and practice good time management
    • Detail oriented
    • Ability to quickly learn multiple client industry trends
    • Adaptable to change and able to switch gears when needed
  • Energized by solving problems and developing solutions
    • Take complex ideas and make them actionable 
    • Mix analytical and creative thinking
    • Ability to notice and build off of patterns
  • Works well remotely
    • Ability to work without close supervision
    • Ability to sit at a computer most of the day navigating across multiple programs
    • Ability to hit the ground running and jump in on projects

Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Google Analytics
  • SEO experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Moz, SEMRush, or AHrefs preferred
  • Conversion optimization experience is a plus
  • SEM experience is a plus

Job Location

Remote: We will provide a computer and equipment to your home and reimburse up to $75/month for internet service

No one in the company is traveling at this time. However, in the future you may be asked to travel to a client meeting or represent the company at an industry conference on occasion.
